What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, phone number, email address, the addresses you are moving between, your preferred date and any detail you choose to give us about the property or its contents. If you become a customer we also hold the quote, the docket, invoices and payment records.
Why we collect it
To prepare a quote, arrange and carry out your move, invoice you, and meet our legal and insurance obligations. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it to third parties for marketing.
Who we share it with
Only where it is necessary to deliver the service: our insurers in the event of a claim, our accountants and payment providers, our storage site if your goods are stored, and Google, whose Maps service displays the map on our contact page and may process your IP address when that map loads. Each is bound to handle your data confidentially.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after twelve months. Customer records are kept for six years to meet HMRC and insurance requirements, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
