Why we started

Coventry Removals Group was founded in 2026 by a team already working in Coventry property. Between managing lettings and short-stay properties across the city, we spent years standing in hallways on moving days, watching the same three failures repeat: a price that changed once the van was loaded, a crew that turned up three hours late with no phone call, and damage that nobody would put their name to.

None of that is difficult to fix. It just requires surveying properly instead of guessing, employing crews instead of booking day labour, and carrying real insurance instead of hoping. That is the whole business.

How we work

Every job starts with a survey, either in person or by video walkthrough, and ends with a written docket: crew, vehicle, timings, access notes and a fixed price. We do not quote sight unseen and we do not price by bedroom count, because neither produces a number you can rely on.

Our crews are employed, uniformed and DBS-checked. The person who surveys your move is contactable on the day it happens. If something goes wrong, you have a name and a number, not a call centre.

What we carry

£2m goods in transit cover and public liability insurance on every job, and registration as a waste carrier for clearance work. All three certificates are available before you book, and we would encourage you to ask any removals firm for the same.

Where we work

Coventry and roughly an hour around it: Warwickshire, the West Midlands, and the Leicestershire border. We have deliberately not expanded further. A tight radius is what lets us survey properly, quote quickly and start early, and it is the reason we can hold a fixed price where a national operator would not.
